A group of Agbrigg women and children visited Thorpe park in London at the end of the summer holidays. Even though it was a long day, the coach leaving around 4am and not returning until 11pm, spirits remained high and a great day was had by everyone. Luckily once again the weather was excellent with just one spell of rain. There were loads of thrilling rides, and we would recommend the park to anyone who likes to ride on these in particular as they were all close to each other and very 'hair raising'. This outing was the last of four that the women and children have had the chance to participate in. Earlier in the summer they went to Pleasure Island, Cleethorpes, Alton Towers and drayton Manor Theme Park and Zoo. We look forward in anticipation to next summer, and hope the community continue to support us. View the photo album here.

Sandal Magna Parent & Toddler group (based in Agbrigg) recently took two coaches of local women and children on a day out to Drayton Manor Theme Park and Zoo. The weather stayed fine and we even saw some sunshine. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves young and old and had a great day. We are now looking forward to our forthcoming trip to Thorpe Park, London. We would like to thank everyone who joined us for their support once again, and we hope they will continue to support us in the future. View the photo album here.

England took on Pakistan in the 3rd NPower Test Match at Headingley on Friday. A good day weather-wise saw a good start for England batting first, making 347 for 6 at close of play, with Kevin Peiterson 104 not out. Pakistan were made to toil in the field with a fairly flat wicket and Pakistani bowlers struggling at times. Along with Sky Sports and Channel 5, Jaan was there to bring you exclusive pictures. Read on for more photos of this lot....
